The Lounge at the End of the Universe opened in May of 2019, in the Gem Center for the Arts building at 2417 W Bank Drive. After only being open for 10 months, The Lounge, as well as the rest of the world, found itself amid a global pandemic. Like many other businesses, we needed to pivot our business model and simply try to survive. We are proud to say that we did do exactly that, but we couldn’t

have done it alone. Thanks to the hands and minds of many talented and compassionate individuals, we were able to overcome the hurdles and challenges of the pandemic and stand stronger than ever before! We are grateful for every single person who stepped up to help support Boise’s performing arts community. It is our mission to make sure every performer has a safe and accepting place to express their creative art form.

If you’ve never seen Cory live, he’s one of those comics who instantly locks in with a crowd. Fast, sharp, a little chaotic in the best way, and it feels like you’re just hanging out with your funniest friend who probably shouldn’t be allowed near a microphone. 😂 He’s toured comedy clubs all over the country, performed at Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club in Las Vegas, was mentored by the legendary Louie Anderson, and released his Dry Bar special “Bad Teacher” plus the Billboard-charting album “The Collage Dropout.” 📈🤣
