I’ve found out that when some people wanna go out for a craft b**r, they only think of going to breweries. We love breweries, and think they are great, but we don’t think they should be the only thing you think about when you want good b**r.

Breweries in Idaho rarely, if ever, have b**r on that is from a craft b**r producer beside their own. We always strive to have a lot of regional breweries represented that we think are exceptional but not always easy to find in the market. We also have a fridge full of fancy b**rs. These are b**rs that can be drank now or held on to for a long time without going bad. These are b**r than can change your perception of what b**r can actually be.

We do more than just b**r. We have a kitchen that we make most things from scratch. And we also try and keep prices reasonable. We recently have added a selection of wines, and added to our selection of high end tinned fish. And all the b**rs in the fancy fridge, wines, and tinned fish are also available as an option to go, and at a discount to go.

And if you wanna go out, but are feeling budget constraints, we always have cans of Hamm’s and Rainier b**r for $3, or $2 of Thursdays.

It’s October. Time for Halloween themes. 80s horror movies. And there will be at least one question about troll 2. But a lot more about other 80s movies that you can’t prepare for.

There are 2 things which I need Y’all to believe right meow. That this b**r is not a tiny b**r, and that my hands are normal size hands.

But anyways, we at Here’s How Public House believe in the importance of La**rs. In an age of big crazy craft IPAs, we always wanna enjoy a good craft l***r. La**rs don’t try and overshadow whatever else it is you’re doing, they just wanna comfortably hold your hand.

Come in sometime and enjoy a L***r. They’re more than just the b**rs your grandpa drank. That doesn’t mean they’re not the b**rs your grandpa drank.

Come in with friends, or come in alone and play pinball. Or… come in with friends and play pinball. Then crush your friends at pinball, see them driven before you, and hear their lamentations as you dance the mamoushka.

Who’s nostalgic for an internet time when your Facebook timeline was your friends posts in chronological order. Instagram was square, and the only place people looked at videos was YouTube.

We’re weeks theme is harkening back to the Obama heyday, put online… “Early 2010s Internet” A cultural time when google wasn’t dominated by A.I. and when anybody typed in AI, it could interpreted as something “weird”.

Trivia this week is going for some vintage politics, a time when people broke into offices doing criminal acts but is still somehow better than what we currently have.

It’s almost time for October baseball!

The time when we start caring about a sport we’ve ignored for the past 10.5 months. We care for a sense of nostalgia, for the enjoyment of seeing an occasional fat man be a highly paid pro athlete, and for games when we can no longer watch and say the outcome doesn’t matter.

We don’t really have a team, but as a b**r bar, we always wanna root for a team called “The Brewers” and are happy they have a guaranteed playoff spot!

As we head towards October baseball, leave a comment about what team you’re rooting for right now.

And Seattle fans, we’re sorry, this doesn’t look to be your year, but we have had great crowds for some Seattle playoff games in the past!

Grab your favorite heather and make some cool-aid, because our theme is Cult Movie Classics this week. That’s right. You’re favorite movies, that you think nobody else saw, but in reality lots of people saw those movies but just didn’t like them the way you did.

What is a cult movie? A movie that didn’t find mainstream success at first, but then found an audience later. Sometimes it’s a movie with themes that are considered too “Mature” for general audiences.

It’s gonna be fun, as always, remember to arrive early to get a seat and order food before the kitchen gets too backed up.
