To all of our beloved WB nation.

This is what I know:

8 or 10 days ago a structural engineer was directed to inspect WB by the owner’s insurance company.
14 trusses must be replaced.
½ the roof needs replaced.
One HVAC system needs replaced.
Another HVAC venting should be replaced.
Some interior walls need replaced.
Kitchen ceiling needs replaced, perhaps one wall or section of wall.
Smoke and soot remediation.
Unknown yet how much sheetrock needs replaced.
Electrical wiring needs replaced.
Lighting, plumbing, fixtures need replaced.
Plumbing repairs.
Paint. Lots of it.
City inspection, premise reopening.
What I don’t know is when.

As for me, I am undergoing recurrence of a subdural hematoma condition.

I also know that if I rely on other people for my happiness, I will be sorely disappointed.

Please know that people have signed up to follow WB pages that have a different motive than you do, which hopefully explains to you my silence on social media. Just know that I wish I could.

I miss you all, and hope everyone is doing well and never, ever, give up on your pursuit of happiness.

Hello to all, I hope everyone is doing good.

Just dropping a note to express my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to Willi B’s family, from WB’s beloved employees to every customer… Thank you for the love, the outpouring of grace, and the incredible financial support in these trying times.

Special thanks to Randy for jumping on the funding site that so many people so generously gave to, James, Amy, Jim, and Ralph for their music and organizational skills, Dave for not only contributing time and music but for also manning the FB page, Crystal and her video talents promoting and participating in the benefits, Ronnie for his videographer talents producing the documentary (and his singing skills!), Mandi for just taking over after the fire, Francine for checking on me every day and too many others to name here.

Special, special thanks to the Emry’s for donating their gorgeous property for Sunday’s benefit and social gathering (and let me not forget to include Dalton Royal, thank you!!!) and all the prep work that was done behind the scenes; TONS of work has gone into the benefits (you all just took over so I could remain concerned about the closing of the bar, thank you so much).

Thank you to all of Boise’s talented musicians that donated their time and good will to participating in the benefits and making them so tremendously successful, they could not have happened without your support and involvement.

I could not have made it this far without everyone’s help (and I mean EVERYONE!).

I am still dealing with ins companies, these things take a lot of time, and since I only have 6mo to open the doors in order to keep my license, I have been scouring Boise looking for a place that we can call home. If there are any real estate investors out there looking for a reliable tenant, please hit me up, let’s get the conversation started!

Once again, I am deeply indebted to ALL, and the push to reopen is the first and highest priority.

Hi everyone, this is Dave Ficks. Steve Carper has asked me to manage his page while dealing with the fire that has temporarily closed WilliB's.

I don't have much in terms of updates to offer at this moment, except that I just got off of a long conversation on the phone and Steve asked me to share this :
