It has been a great week at the shop. We had visits from two extremely talented men in the wine world. Master Somm Nick Hetzel joined us for a great night showing Hartford Court wines. There are only 300 Master Sommeliers in the world, so this was a very special night.

Matt Meyer also stopped by for a quick visit while in the area. He is a friend of the shop- he has visited and shown his wines in the past. His father is the originally winemaker for Silver Oak so he has quite the pedigree. His wines, Meyer Family, are fantastic! We will be getting in some of his newly released 2016 Cabernets in the next few weeks.

Both Hartford Court and Meyer Family wines are at the shop and highly recommended.

Excited to have Matt Revelet, Winemaker for Siduri Wines here at the shop tonight to show a selection of his 24 Pinot Noir, 18 single vineyards (and 1 Chardonnay) from all up and down the West Coast. Fun night!!

The Women Who Wine of Sunset & Vine were well represented yesterday, despite the heat, at the Blowing Rock Fourth of July parade. It was the most crowded parade I have seen! We had so much fun!! The kiddos in the crowd were definitely spoiled by these women— they came well supplied with all sorts of giveaways: candy and beads and twirlies! Thanks to all of these ladies for braving the heat! 🇺🇸🎆🍷
