Sorry we've been stagnant for the last few weeks. We're working on finding a new location. We will keep you all posted with our progress. Thanks you for your continued interest in Bottles of Grain.

Got some pretty bad news for the shop today. After finding out what the zoning was for the building and talking to the city with the landlord we won't be going with that location. The landlord and I spoke today and due to the changes I would have to make to the business plan due to the zoning he is no longer willing to lease me the building. In a nutshell I would have to make the location more of a bar than a retail shop with a bar. That would force some structural and cosmetic changes to the location that the landlord was unable to accept. So we part ways with out any hostility and continue to move forward. Wish us luck.

Well unfortunately we got postponed by the city for our permit. It's not the end of the line however and a special session could be in the works. If not the Mayor said we could get our permit by the 28th of August if I attend the meeting on the 8th. Slightly disappointed but we're still moving forward. I was interviewed by the local paper after the meeting so that's a plus.

What is Bottles of Grain you may be asking yourself? Well, once we open we will be a full service Craft Beer store with a bar. We will have your favorite Craft Beer to go in bottles and cans in singles, four packs, six packs, twelve packs and cases. We'll also have 10 tap handles of local and national Craft Beer. We aren't a brewery as I've heard some people believe. Thanks for all the likes and good wishes.
