Job Summary:
We are currently seeking mature, grounded, and situationally aware individuals with de-escalation techniques to join our team as Bar Staff. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our nightly services. This is an excellent opportunity for graduate students looking to earn additional income while gaining valuable experience in the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities:
-Greet and welcome customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
-Practice responsible alcohol service and comply with all state and local regulations.
-Monitor customers' alcohol intake and intervene when necessary to prevent overconsumption.
-Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
-Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a positive and efficient work environment.
-Assist in closing duties
Qualifications:
-Must be at least 21 years old.
-Previous experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in a bar or similar establishment, is preferred but not required.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
-Knowledge of de-escalation techniques and conflict resolution skills.
-Understanding of responsible alcohol service and compliance with legal regulations.
-Availability to work evening and weekend shifts as required.
-Must be a graduate student or have a flexible schedule to accommodate evening shifts.
