Ask anyone who spent time at the Fox and Hounds and they’ll tell you about the parties. Amy was behind the bar for the annual ’70s party the night before Thanksgiving. Bell bottoms and all.

For 80 years, the Fox and Hounds sat at Woodward and Long Lake, right where Bill’s is today. Amy, who’s been taking care of guests at Roadside B&G for well over a decade, joined Kat Orlando’s CHOPZ podcast on Bloomfield Community Television to share some of those memories.

Hospitality wears a smile.

Bill calls it the hospitality gene, and it's the first thing we look for in anyone who joins our team.

It's the hello at the door. The best table we've got, not just the next one up. Someone who remembers your kids' names and asks how they're doing. A thank you on the way out that actually means it.

A leather booth, pictures you notice something new in every visit, and time to settle in over dinner. With cooler evenings on the way, it’s getting even cozier at Bill’s.

Every year we set up a table at Vine & Dine in Bloomfield Hills and send out small plates to a room full of neighbors. We've been coming for a long time, because a neighborhood restaurant should show up for the neighborhood, including the neighbors who need a hand.

This year's night raised money for The DRE Project, which brings meals and groceries to families across metro Detroit. We served our Colorado Lamb Meatballs with pistachio mint pesto and tzatziki.

They're on our menu everyday, so come sit down and have an order whenever you like.
