Hokie House has been a staple of the Blacksburg community since 1967. Originally founded by George and Nettie Willard, Hokie House started as a single floor burger and beer restaurant. As the years passed, we grew substantially, adding a 2nd floor in 1989. Hokie House will be celebrating a NEW FOUNDER'S DAY/Hokie House family reunion party the weekend of June 12th and 13th. This will be the first ANNUAL party of this type!

Free live music both Friday and Saturday night!
Ribbon cutting Saturday, June 13th at 4pm.
We have developed our very own HOT SAUCE and we will have a tasting.

While we are all trapped inside staring at our screens, we thought this would be a good time to announce some great news and put some rumors to bed!

Ish and Ollie (the two owners/operators of the Hokie House since 2010), along with two investors, were able to purchase the building!!!!

We know there have been some rumors about the building getting torn down, turned into apartments, or Hokie House closing, but that can all be laid to rest! WE ARE HERE FOREVER!!!

We are more than grateful for all the comments, help, and support we have gotten from the Blacksburg community as well as family, friends, and VT Alum.

We owe a special thanks to our legal team at Mitchell Kilgore, our financial team at Impact Solutions, our banking team from Carter Bank and Trust, headlined by Rehmann Jess, and our Title team from NRV Title, headlined by Tina Merritt.

This is a big win for past, present, and future Hokies, as well as a big win for the Blacksburg community and Blacksburg's identity.

One thing we really want to focus on is the Hokie House's tie to the community. Hokie House was started in the mid 60's and since that day, has been a staple here in Blacksburg. From civil rights issues to legal battles with VT, a lot of history has been forgotten along the way, but we want to bring it all to light. It's a part of who we are and it's the legacy we want to continue.

Once again, we appreciate all the help we have received, and to show our support back, we've got some exciting things coming up. We are working on a brand new happy hour that will include both food and drink specials, as well as hosting a Galentine's Day Party the weekend of Valentine's Day.
