Join us Friday, March 13 from 6–8 pm for Meadhall Brawls with our neighbors, . They will be bringing their mixed-weapons medieval sparring to the taproom for an evening of live combat demonstration, historical martial arts, and general meadhall merriment.

All ages welcome. Polite pets as well.

Come for the swords. Stay for the cider and mead.

Happy New Year! The taproom is open.

If you’re a longtime fan of our pistachio mead, consider this its quieter, toastier cousin. Hazelnut mead is rich and rounded, with a gentle nuttiness that leans warm rather than sweet.

This is a one-off batch, the first time we’ve ever made it, and possibly the last.

And don’t worry. Pistachio will be back soon.

Croatan returns at last. Our seasonal sweet-potato mead brings together the earthy depth of the harvest with gentle notes of vanilla, a quietly complex expression of Eastern North Carolina’s roots.

We couldn’t make it last year in the wake of Helene, which makes this year’s batch feel especially meaningful. Limited cans are available in the tasting room, and this is the final week to stock up before Thanksgiving.

It’s a small piece of the season, carved in history and ready to pour 🍠🍯🍻
