Black Mountain Yarn Shop is located in beautiful downtown Black Mountain, NC just a few minutes east of Asheville. We carry some of the finest hand-dyed yarn from around the world, including Spincycle, La Bien Aimee, Moondrake, Fig and Posy, Sugarplum Circus, Magpie, Brooklyn Tweed, Kinetic Knitter and so much more. Amsterdam, Hide and Hammer and more. If you need knitting needles, crochet hooks, buttons, knit stoppers or any other accessories, we've got you covered. You can also head over to our Online Shop (www.blackmountainyarnshop.com) to shop from wherever you are! We hope that you'll join us for Fiber Nights at the shop every Tuesday from 6-8pm and our Pints and Purls-style knit night at Lookout Brewing in Black Mountain every Thursday from 6-8pm! Session 1: Mastering the Card
Learn tips, tricks, and techniques for understanding and memorizing the Mah-Jongg card—the key to the game. We’ll break it down into manageable pieces and make learning the card fun and approachable.

Session 2: Rules & Practice
Learn the rules of play and put your new knowledge into practice. We’ll walk through the basics of gameplay and have plenty of opportunities to practice together.

Session 3: Strategy & Game Play
Take your skills to the next level! We’ll explore beginner strategy, discuss how to make smart decisions during a game, and then put it all together with some real games.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have the knowledge and confidence to sit down at a Mah-Jongg table and play!
