The ND Hospitality Group isn’t your typical corporation, with a parent company in an office somewhere, overseeing a collection of businesses under one umbrella.
If we’re sticking with the family analogy, we’re more like a big, blended family—full of step kids, adoptions, second marriages, and a little bit of chaos.
Each business has its own personality, leadership, and story, but we’re all connected by a shared commitment to supporting one another, building small businesses and celebrating each other’s successes.
Here’s a look at our business family and the incredible people who make it all work. You’ll find a short bio, how they’re related, and business affiliation in the comments of each photo.
We’re proud of what we’ve built together, and we’re excited to keep growing. With two new projects opening in the next year, (details on one to be announced very soon!) we look forward to welcoming even more talented and amazing people into the family. ❤️

To clear the air…. There are a few myths floating around the social space that we wanted to clear up. You heard it here, straight from the source….

1. We were offered the lease at 422 e Main Ave after the landlord made a decision to not renew the current lease. His reasons are his own. We did not offer any money or bribe and we were only offered the lease before the public because we were already leasing the basement space. There is no conspiracy.

2. We have zero plans to erase any history or modernize the space. It’s federally protected from anyone doing so and even if it wasn’t, we wouldn’t dream of it. The McKenzie hotel lobby where the current restaurant has been since the 80s will only be further restored to its full, original glory. This includes much needed plumbing upgrades, flooring repairs, etc so that the space has a long, beautiful future.

3. There is no “big money” behind this. Just two people that agreed to take on a huge and exciting challenge when it was offered to us.

Lastly, we will fully announce all of our plans in July. We want to respect the current tenants farewell period and let them hold the spotlight as long as they’re there. We appreciate all those that support us and fully understand that some folks need somewhere to put their frustrations and we seem like a good target. That’s ok. We will see you soon BisMan.

We’re excited to officially share our next chapter. ND Hospitality Group has been selected as the new operator of the restaurant space at Patterson Place. We look forward to bringing Bismarck/Mandan another exceptional dining experience.
