I am sure a lot have read posts going around about The Derby. We want to clear our name so you can hear the other side of the story. As a business we have to make sure all of our customers are safe. If we feel like they have had too much to drink, even before coming in we have a right to refuse anymore alcohol. That is simply what was done. The couple was told they couldn't have anymore to drink. I don't know how the rumors have started that anything else that was said. There was no discrimination whatsoever. If you have ever been to the derby you know we have a very diverse crowd. Everyone is welcome at our establishment regardless of gender, sexual preferences, or their race.
