New to us. Also have a wide assortment of n.a. beer. Starting May 27th, we will be open on Wednesdays at 1p.m. for the summer. 50 cents off any alcoholic beverage all day. Hope to see you soon.

Effective May 13th, 2026
All County Roads in Washburn County are now open to ATV/UTV traffic.
Signs are posted at all border crossings authorizing use of the County Roads and No ATV Traffic signs are installed where there is not a direct crossing of the State Highway.
An updated map showing all County Roads are open will be posted on the Highway Department Website.
Please drive safe and be respectful of others while driving on our Highways.

Some of the hardest words to write… I want to start off by saying we are not closing our door by any means! Okay here it goes…

Ever dreamed of owning the milk pail? Now could be your chance! After so many sweet memories, long days, and even longer nights, the time has come for me to share that The Milk Pail is officially for sale listed through Kaiser reality. This little shop has been so much more than just ice cream. Even though it’s only been a few years. It’s been laughter echoing through the windows, sticky hands and smiling faces, first jobs, family traditions, and a place where our community came together to slow down and enjoy something simple and special.
Pouring my heart into The Milk Pail has been one of the greatest joys of my life. Every scoop served, every conversation had, every familiar face that walked through the door — it all means more to me than I can ever fully put into words.
This decision did not come easy. But I truly believe that sometimes you have to trust the next chapter, even when it’s hard to turn the page.
My biggest hope is that someone will come along who sees the same magic here that I always have… someone who will continue to grow it, love it, and keep it a special place for this community.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for supporting me, cheering me on, and being part of this journey.
