Petra Cafe Greek & Mediterranean Biloxi is a joint venture between cousins Ayman Al-Bataineh and Sufyan Bataineh. Sufyan Bataineh is the owner of the Petra Cafe Biloxi location. Petra Cafe Biloxi allows him to share his love of Mediterranean food and culture with others. Sufyan has been in the restaurant and hospitality industry for many years and enjoys the warmth and kindness from the guests who visit Petra Cafe in Biloxi. Petra Cafe began in 2007 when Ayman Al-Bataineh decided to make Mississippi his home. While living in Johannesburg South Africa, Ayman found that the best way to capture the food and flavors he missed from his mother's cooking was to open his own restaurant. After relocating to the United States, he decided to continue sharing his love of Middle Eastern food and Petra Cafe was born. Ayman and Sufyan are committed to the traditional hospitality and delicious, authentic abundance of flavors Middle Eastern food is known for.
