How it works:

Winner will get this 50” wide longhorn skull. (Worth $500) The skull is professionally cleaned and ready to hang in your home, or wherever you see fit!

Lot 9 in the Pride of the Prairie Production Sale is a brindle beauty named Kate McCannon, who is already in production and raising a heck of a heifer calf!

She comes from a rapid horn growth, cow family that includes many industry greats. She measured 54 1/4” TTT on April 3rd, and is growing close to an inch a month through the stress of a Wyoming winter! (We will get an updated measurement just before the sale)

Now, let’s look at her heifer calf born on March 25, 2026. This heifer calf is out of an exceptionally bred bull named KCS Forrest Gump, who is out of the 102” BR Real Deal and BR Villa Nova, an Awesome Nova daughter.

Kate McCannon will be left open for the sale and ready to breed to the bull of your choice.

Today we are celebrating a special milestone — two years of selling our longhorn beef at the weekly Landon's Saturday Farmers Market!

Over the past two years, we’ve had the privilege of meeting so many incredible customers who value local food, quality products, and supporting small businesses. Because of you, our longhorn beef has found its way into countless kitchens, backyard cookouts, and family dinners.

Your support, conversations at the booth, and loyal weekly visits have helped our small operation thrive. We’re proud to raise and offer longhorn beef you can trust, and we’re grateful you choose to buy local.

Thank you to Landon’s for providing the weekley venue and thank you to our customers for being part of our farmers market family. We’re excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to see you at the market this morning!
