The big event is just days away. We hope to see you all on Sunday, October 18, 2026. Same day registration begins at 8:30 AM and the race starts at 10:00 AM. Are you all set to participate. Unfortunately the climbing wall wonā€™t be available for the event but thereā€™s still plenty to do at the block party after the race such as face and pumpkin painting, a basket raffle, and live music by Black Mountain Symphony, and more.

Itā€™s this weekend everyone! In just two days you can join us at the Helderberg Mountain Brewery for our annual Miles for Meals Race and Block Party. Plan to participate in the 50/50 raffle, the basket raffle, and new for this year the B**r Belly Bolt race where runners race 25 yards, chug a half-pint of b**r, and race back. Prizes for the winners include a Helderberg Mountain Brewery hoodie and a growler of b**r. Registration for this event is on Sunday only.

The race starts at 10:00 AM. Black Mountain Symphony will be playing and the The Babbling Brook grill will be fired up.

Face and pumpkin painting, basket and 50/50 raffles, and baked goods for sale.

Itā€™s almost finally here! Same day registration for the Miles for Meals 5K opens at 8:30 AM tomorrow morning. The race starts at 10:00 AM and the Block Party starts at 11:00 AM with live music by Black Mountain Symphony. Tons of activities and events for everyone.

Altamont knows how to throw a Halloween, and the trick-or-treaters keep showing up hungry. We're collecting candy donations to help Altamont residents stock up for the big night.
