With a full day now to think about it, the sting of not being able to finish the job and win the 2022 NBA Championship is really setting in. The moment it seems, was too big for them as they withered away to the battle tested Golden State Warriors. For now, the green lights go off and the hope is it's not another 12 years to get back to the Finals again. It was a hell of a ride, but I can tell you from experience, no one remembers the ride when you don't finish the job.
