With walleye opener next weekend our local conservation officers asked if we could share this message about fishing on Lake Gogebic.

Last year the DNR proposed a slot limit on Lake Gogebic but it ultimately did not get approved. The regulations are the same as they’ve been for years: 5 fish over 15 inches. Feel free to pass the word!

It's getting closer! May 1st, the Hoop 'N Holler will be opening up for the season! 7 days a week. Can't wait for some warm weather 🌞 🏖 and Lake fun🚤 🎣 ! Until then, here is the link to our live webcam!See you all then!🍻

Since winter is not giving up quite yet, the Hoop will remain closed until at least Friday, April 24th. Bring on some sunshine! 🌞

UPDATE! Thanks to some snowmobilers, these items have been found!

Attention snowmobilers! We have a customer who lost a small, orange hip purse, a pink waterbottle, and a pair of FXR black gloves yesterday(3/21) on trail 1 somewhere between Bergland and Silver City. If you have found any of these items, please contact the Hoop at 906-575-5555 and we will put you in touch with the owner. Thanks!
