Whiskey Sour: 🍋

This beloved classic cocktail is Eligah Craig bourbon shaken in lemon juice, demerara, and fee foam with a luxury cherry for the garnish.

This drink is one of the oldest cocktails in America published back to the 1860's but have been created long before with sailors and merchants.
To help prevent scurvy, they would mix their spirits (rum) with citrus juice like lemons, limes, and oranges. When American sailors would return for voyages a crossed the ocean, they brought back the tasted for the drink. American bartenders took it and changed the rum for American whiskey, creating the classic that we know today.

A Shakespeare dinner to remember. ✨

We had such an incredible evening with our Shakespeare Dinner at Lady Slipper. From a custom three-course menu inspired by the evening to live actors, it was one of those nights that reminded us just how special it is to gather around the table.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped bring the night to life. We loved sharing it with you. 🥂
