Today, Saturday 9/12, you'll have to get your live music fix EARLY as in the evening we'll be hosting a private event...BUT today's matinee slot is a REALLY good one! Come on by for super faves 🎡 VAN GOAT!!! The Oakland based Swing-Punk band rock out from 1PM!!! Again, once they complete their show at 3:30PM we'll need to set for tonight's private event (closed to the public, with apologies) but we'll then be back on track for tomorrow's show...in the meantime LET'S GO VAN GOAT!!!

Coming up next week is the incredible September Songbird Sessions featuring some of the most anticipated singer-songwriter sets we've had! Wednesday 9/16 at 6:30PM, this is one not to miss! Here's what's on:

🎡 MEREDITH McHENRY performs all over the Bay Area and Monterey Peninsula, recreating well known classics and under the radar gems across the sonic spectrum, and her original music stays true to that genre blending with deeply personal songs full of humor, vulnerability, passion, and authenticity!

🎡 ALEXIS HALL who's from London, England, brings a unique blend of raw honesty and whimsical storytelling to the stage. He's formerly of local bands 'The Next Best Things' and 'Julie and the Warm Bodies'!

🎡 JUSTIN JONES who we found in Martinez, however he hails from a smaller town in central California called Oakdale, is just one of the rawest songwriters you'll hear!

🎡 JUBAL JAKE is the songwriting vehicle for Jeremy Swayne with a sound that ranges from melancholy crooning over contemplative ballads to more of a giddy-up outlaw vibe, with his signature baritone vocal delivery!

🎡 MICHAEL WHEELER brings a restless, independent spirit to music with a sound he calls β€œRolling Country.” Wheeler’s debut album, 'White Collar Redneck', is the introduction to that sound!

Now, now, now...this is CERTAINLY one of the most anticipated shows this year and in fact in the whole history of Lucca Beer Garden for sure! Today, Sunday September 6 from 2:30-5:30PM, please join us for 🎡 ROGER SMITH & FRIENDS!!! It’s a Tower of Power alumni of sorts with guitar funketeer Jeff Tamelier, global drumming icon David Garibaldi, masterful bassist Curtis Ohlson (who's also worked with Ray Charles, Buddy Rich), and super soulful vocalist Fred Ross, all led by organ/keys master Roger Smith who had a whopping 3 decade stint in the iconic band! Highly recommended! We look forward to this great day of music!

Always the BEST of the BEST music, playing, energy, feel, and musicianship from this incredible band TONIGHT Friday 9/4 from 6:30-9PM...It's the incomparable 🎡 CHRIS CAIN BAND!!! Cain's 1987 debut recording 'Late Night City Blues' garnered four W.C. Handy Blues Award nominations, including Guitarist of the Year. Now with 16 releases out, he is joined by this all-star band!
