The Elks Lodge is a National Foundation that invites members of society to help support the future of our youth as well as veterans. They invest in awarding student scholarships through the Most Valuable Student scholarship program to the Scouting scholarships and even emergency educational grants for children of deceased or totally disabled Elks. They put together the largest coeducational sports
programs in the country that over three million kids participate in every year. The Elks have pledged not to forget our nation's veterans. Each year the Elks visit hundreds of thousands of veterans in Medical Centers, Homes, and Outpatient Clinics. Last year alone, the Elks adopted and befriended more than 156,000 veterans who were far from home or without family. Here in Bemidji our Elks Lodge Bar is a family, we always have a good time with our friendly and positive atmosphere. Stop in with the friends and family to have a drink or two or even some pizza but dont forget to ask what being a member stands for and how to become one!
