It is a bittersweet day for us today. We are announcing the closure of Pig Iron Pub. Many of you have inquired about our recent daily closings. To answer, yes we are officially closed
The last few years have been quite the adventure for us. We started out with high hopes and optimism. We received an award for being the best new business and we've been the highest rated bar in town. People came from many miles around for our food because they were told that our burgers were the best around, and the Sloppy Pig, well, the Sloppy Pig speaks for itself. We had the best open Jam in the area, where many new artists found their place and world class performers graced our stage. We took over and continued a decades old local venue. We welcomed everyone regardless of race, religion, background, social standing, beliefs, gender, etc, etc. If you rode two wheels or three, drove four or eighteen, had a white collar or if it was blue. It didn't matter. Everyone was welcome, as long as they respected everyone there. You, our customers have been, and are, more than customers. You are our extended family, our brothers and sisters, our friends. It's time for us to turn the page and start the next chapter of our lives.
