This project showcases Oregon’s unique and ever-changing grape diversity, while allowing Chad and Bree to explore their penchant for low-intervention winemaking.”

A little about the show:
An Opulent Journey

Chris is an abstract painter who has worked in oil, acrylic/mixed media and encaustic. Jessica is a digital/watercolor illustrator specializing in botanical design.

They first met in Portland, Oregon, shared an art studio, and fell in love. They continue to inspire one another, working as full time artists.

Join us this Friday (12/8) from 5 to 8 for our first (of many) ‘Meet the Winemaker’ event

We will be pouring the 2021 vintages of Willamette Pinot Noir, ‘Bring it’, ‘The Hux’, and Columbia Valley Albariño (FRESH RELEASE) by the glass and offering Swick’s 2020 Syrah and ‘Zero point Zero’ Nebbiolo by the bottle

A little bit from Joseph Swick (winemaker and proprietor): “Our philosophy is to make our wines as naked and raw as we possibly can while having them be fun and delicious. We work with organically farmed vineyards in the colder regions of Oregon and Washington State. We love wines with acid and freshness. We make the wine that we love to drink. No conventional additives. Just grapes and (sometimes) a very small amount of SO2 to keep the wine stable in bottle. Wine is a fermented beverage that should not be a trophy or a status symbol. Wines made in this fashion are artisanal products that reflect their artist and terroir with no maquillage.”
