Running hops last weekend for a customer farm for fresh wet hop beers in Michigan.

So the very first Hops farm we got to tour was in Hickory Corners run by Jeff Steinman he provided much insight and guidance to us in the beginning and we're still thankful to this day. One of his statements was START CLEAN END CLEAN we carry this whole hearted. After every variety of hop we run the equipment and barn get air cleaned from top to bottom before the next run . Thanks again buddy we'd love to have you back sometime.

Not as many as some farms but definitely a good run of 3,460 Strings. Two people and just over two days Saturday Sunday and Monday evening. Things are looking good on the farm and spirits are high. Tap the bottom picture and turn your phone sideways for a full view.

So it hits with a heavy heart today at the farm. Many probably didn't know Steve AKA Bert however we were fortunate enough to cross paths with this great Brewer and Human being. He brewed lots of great beers with our hops and we enjoyed every one and the conversations that took place with them. Rip Bert
