The descent has begun.
As we move into a new week, the last week, we want to thank everyone again for the overwhelming support we have seen, and felt, over the past couple of months.
We understand this moment can be confusing and disappointing for many but we truly believe in a tomorrow when it comes to CHAOS.
The past few weeks, CHAOS remaining open was for our employees. A moment to re-situate outside of CHAOS. We wanted everyone to at least have a chance to land gracefully. With that said, this final week may get,,, chaotic. We may run out of things and may do without on some days. We will do our best to finish out strong and fulfill any orders we get!
Food items we will have 100% until the end,,, as long as we have someone to make them,,,
Smash Burgers and Patty Melts
Crab Rangoon rolls, along with the common rolls like Cali and Philly
Ramen, as long as we can source all of the ingredients. We are low on ramen noodle but do have plenty of Udon noodles!
Plenty of potential for an enjoyable experience but please understand the chance of run outs. Also please do not take your frustrations out on our staff members,,, they have plenty to deal with already.
As for the plan...
The next chapter is soon to begin and we will work diligently on making sure we have everything in order before taking the next step.
Michael is on the up and up and is doing quite well. Comfortable at home,,, he hopes to start working with all of his therapists and develop a healthy routine with the new norm. We will still make posts on the CHAOS page about his progress, the buildings progress, and other things we still support and/or are interested in.
As for me,,, I will disappear for a week or so. Losing Mike in the restaurant meant losing my greatest teammate and partner, and the voice behind my ideas. I am not a people person and lack charisma,,,So the last 2 months has put me so far out of my comfort zone. I will work on that aspect in hopes to take over all elements of the business behind CHAOS. I will recharge and hope to return to the CHAOS soon.
In my mind and heart, we haven't even scratched the surface on what CHAOS can truly be and become. I have a ton of ideas and plans but first we must start at the foundation,,, the roots.
Over the past 2 years we have learned a lot about what works and what doesnt. If we plan to return, we need to be able to learn from our mistakes and implement a real business strategy/concept. My first priority, now and always, will be Michael...
But,,,
Once we have Mike on the right path,,, I will return to focus on the building. Its old and needs some heavy attention. The façade needs a facelift and the building beyond the 1st floor needs to be worked on and finished. I will spend time filling yet another dumpster or 2 and go forward from there.
Im not sure what to expect as far as 3-4 months into the future. CHAOS may take longer to restart. There is a small chance it doesnt if everything leans that way. Mike and I love what we have created and hope to continue but sometimes life just pulls you in other directions.
So for now,,, "We will now begin our descent into CHAOS,,,"
