VFW Post 1600 Bellefonte PA VFW Post 1600 embodies the principles of dedication, honor, and service to all. We’re committed to fraternity, patriotism, historical remembrance, and charity.

We support our members by honoring those who have passed, and by aiding their families. JOIN THE VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS: As yesterday's defenders of freedom, we want to welcome today's military service members into our ranks to become part of our elite group. Our common bond is the battlefield, whether it is service in the Persian Gulf, Korea, Kosovo, the Global War on Terrorism or peace-keepi

ng expeditionary campaigns. Your courage and sacrifice have made a difference in preserving and defending world peace. If you have received a campaign medal for overseas service; have served 30 consecutive or 60 non-consecutive days in Korea; or have ever received hostile fire or imminent danger pay, then you're eligible to join our ranks. To become one of the 'elite' please stop by the Bellefonte Post 1600 to fill out an application or apply on line through National to fill out a New Member Application. Or, contact the VFW Post 1600 by calling us at 814-355-2071, depending on your question, either a Post Officer or our Canteen Manager will connect with you soon. Auxiliary and Social membership applications are also available.

🇺🇸🎉 District 22 VFW Bingo Success! 🎉🇺🇸

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and supported the VFW District 22 Bingo held on Sunday. It was a wonderful day filled with fun, fellowship, laughter, and community spirit.

Events like these help bring our veterans, members, families, and local communities together while supporting the mission of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. We appreciate all of the volunteers, workers, players, and supporters who helped make the event a success.

Congratulations to all of our winners, and thank you to everyone who participated. Your continued support helps strengthen our veteran community and ensures we can continue serving those who have served our nation.

We look forward to seeing everyone at future District 22 events!

🎨🏆 Statewide Recognition for Marion-Walker Elementary! 🏆🎨

Congratulations to the students of Marion-Walker Elementary School for their outstanding achievement in the Pennsylvania VFW Statewide Coloring Contest!

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Department of Pennsylvania hosts this annual contest to encourage patriotism and honor our nation’s veterans through art and creativity. Students from across the Commonwealth participate, making this recognition a tremendous accomplishment.

The members of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1600 are proud to support programs that inspire our youth to learn about service, sacrifice, and love of country.

Congratulations to the students, teachers, families, and staff of Marion-Walker Elementary School for representing our community with excellence. Your creativity and patriotic spirit have made us all proud!

VFW Post 1600 Quartermaster Lenny Hahn presented the Military Application Awards to two seniors from Bald Eagle Area High School who enlisted three or more years of active duty with a monetary award of $100 to Bradley Confer US Marines and Thomas Haupt US Navy.

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. 🇺🇸

The VFW Post 1600 Bellefonte Honor Guard was proud to participate in this year’s Memorial Day service ceremonies, paying tribute to our fallen heroes with dignity, respect, and gratitude. From wreath presentations to cemetery honors and community remembrance services, it was a meaningful day of unity and patriotism throughout Bellefonte.

We would like to thank everyone who attended, volunteered, supported, and helped make these ceremonies possible. Your presence helps keep the memory and legacy of our veterans alive for future generations.

A special thank you to our Honor Guard members, speakers, local organizations, and community members who came together to honor those who gave everything for our country.
