Today we are releasing a very special beer that was aged in locally sourced Whiskey Barrels from our friends at Big Spring Spirits! Welcome to the tap, Barrel Aged Headbanger! ๐Ÿคฏ

(10.4%) Barrel Aged Headbanger was aged for 23 months in Big Spring Spirits Whiskey Barrels. This strong, rich, malt forward Old Ale has big notes of American oak, caramel, and toffee. Shoutout to the State College Homebrew Club for helping out and collaborating with this recipe!

We've been excited about this release for a long, long time. 4 years and 15 months, to be exact. Our award-winning Straight Wheat Whiskey is known for its naturally forming caramel, marzipan, and orange notes. This bottle kicks up all of those flavors and then some. With strong orange peel in the nose and on the palate, this one is a sipping whiskey with a serious citrus kick.
