Well… I guess this is really it.
After almost a decade, Stormy’s Music Venue is officially closed.
Saturday night was our final night, and it’s hard to believe that this chapter has come to an end.
When Stormy’s first opened, nobody could have imagined all the memories that would be made inside those walls. Over the years, Stormy’s became so much more than just a bar or a music venue. It became a place for live music, friendships, good times, late nights, crazy stories, and a whole lot of memories.
We’re going to miss the bands.
We’re going to miss the live music.
We’re going to miss the weekly DJs who kept the weekends going.
We’re going to miss the dart teams we sponsored and all the nights spent around those boards.
We’re going to miss the softball teams we were lucky enough to sponsor and cheer on.
We’re going to miss the friendships.
We’re going to miss seeing familiar faces walk through the doors.
And we’re going to miss all the fun, laughter, and memories that came with nearly 10 years of Stormy’s.
One of the things that made Stormy’s so special was the music. Over the years, we were fortunate enough to have bands travel from all over the United States, and even from outside the country, to step onto the Stormy’s stage.
Think about that for a minute… a little venue in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, bringing in bands from across the country and even internationally. That is something we will always be proud of.
Stormy’s was never just about what happened on the stage. It was about everything that happened around it , the bands, the DJs, the dart teams, the softball teams, the bartenders, the regulars, the new faces, and all the people who came together to make this place what it was.
There are far too many people to thank individually, but to every band that ever played our stage, every DJ who kept the music going, every employee who helped make the nights happen, every dart player, every softball player, every team we sponsored, every person who supported us, and every person who walked through our doors — thank you.
You are what made Stormy’s what it was.
The building will now be put up for sale, and while it’s hard to say goodbye, we’re incredibly grateful for the almost 10 years we were able to share with all of you.
We want to see your memories one more time.
