Hudson Valley Brewery

Hudson Valley Brewery Instagram At Hudson Valley Brewery, we like to think of our beer as the product of a wide variety of influences.
(1081)

Like the Hudson Valley itself, we believe the beers we create stand somewhere between the rural and the urban, the traditional and the modern, the rustic and the industrial. Our brewing techniques are inspired by the brewing practices of traditional European breweries as well as the more aggressive, experimental practices of American breweries. We brew the beer we love to drink, which like the Hudson Valley itself, is always changing.

Freshly canned this week: a collection of juicy and expressive Sour IPAs! 🪐☁️

Syzygy: Sour Double IPA with wheat and oat, milk sugar, blackberries, hibiscus and vanilla; hopped with Citra and Mosaic. Tastes like red velvet cake, Stewart’s black raspberry milkshake, and summer fruit salad with cool whip. 🌎

Horizon Loop: Sour Double IPA with wheat and oat, milk sugar, apricots and lemon; hopped with Citra. Reminds us of Capri Sun, Italian ice, and lemon sweet tea. 🏔️

The Manner Of Addressing Clouds: Sour Double IPA with wheat, oat, and milk sugar; brewed with Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe. We’re tasting pineapple coconut water, lemon iced cake, and honey sticks. 🙆‍♀️

Curtains IV was our first Sour Triple IPA, brewed 6 years ago, with our friends and long-time collaborators at THE VEIL BREWING CO. who then as now encourage us to think beyond the apparent boundaries of our most beloved style — toward an increasingly maximalist and saturated version of itself.

Curtains IV is brewed with wheat and oat, milk sugar, buckwheat honey, hopped with our hand-selected Citra from Yakima Chief Hops and filled to the brim with blackberry and raspberry fruit puree.

A new Glycerin variation has arrived in our tasting room! We’ve doubled down on the tropical fruit, with loads of mango and papaya, giving this Sour Double IPA notes of summer fruit salad, Airheads, grilled pineapple, and mango soda. Amulet Sour Farmhouse was one of the first beers we ever made. A few years later, we reimagined it as a Sour IPA, now a favorite for many who visit us.

Amulet Sour IPA is brewed with milk sugar, blueberry, and hibiscus. We get notes of Sour Punch Straws, Lambrusco, and wild blueberry pie! Bright, jammy, and drinkable.

Amulet Sour Farmhouse Ale is our New York State Sour Farmhouse Ale conditioned on blueberries and hibiscus flowers, aged in oak for over a year, and finished with local wildflower honey. Soft and layered, with notes of blueberry Swedish Fish, tart berries, Gushers, and melted blueberry lavender ice pops.
