Join us on Sunday, June 7th at 2pm to mingle with authors Kellie Mickelsen and Roger Skrypczak.

Author of “Mia Amata” and its sequel “Tesoro”, Mickelsen’s stories dive deep into the strength of the human spirit, the power of love, and the secrets we carry.

Skrypczak’s novel “Emma’s Demise” is a page-turning legal mystery set in rural Wisconsin. The author’s deep connection to rural Wisconsin stems from his upbringing in a small northern village and a lifelong appreciation for nature and storytelling.

Stop in, have a cocktail, get some books signed, and chat with these wonderful authors! 🥂

Bates Art Bar is hiring for a part time bartender! If you are reliable, detail-oriented, and looking to work in a fun, fast paced environment this summer, we’ve got a spot for ya! Starting wage $13 plus tips.

Requirements:
- Night and weekend availability
- Ability to stand and work for extended periods of time
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Bartenders must be at least 18 years old and have Bayfield service license

Our artist for the month of May is Bayfield local Amy Crowe. Amy specializes in abstract and experimental art that is inspired by the scenery and nature of our area.

What’s for dinner tonight??

How about a Bates Cuban Sandwich - slow roasted pork belly, ham, baby swiss, and pickles on a house made deli style rye bread - or a Chicken Tender Sandwich - crispy chicken tenders, house made Alabama white sauce, and pickles on a house made potato roll. Chips and fries are also (you guessed it!) made from scratch in house 😉

Our chef is always cooking up new delicious specials for you, come on in and try them out!
