About Us
Bottom Shelf Brewery is a locally loved craft brewery and kitchen in Bayfield, Colorado. We take our food as seriously as our beer — from scratch cooking, seasonal ingredients, and a kitchen crew that takes pride in what comes out of the pass. The Role
We're looking for a dependable, skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You'll be responsible for executing dishes accurately and efficiently during service, maintaining a clean and organized station, and contributing to a positive kitchen culture. Both full-time and part-time positions are available — we'll work with the right candidate on scheduling.
What You'll Do
• Prepare and execute menu items to spec, with consistency and care
• Own your station — set up, maintain, and break down cleanly every shift
• Work the line during service and communicate clearly with teammates
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times
• Assist with prep work, inventory rotation, and kitchen organization
• Collaborate with the kitchen team and contribute to a respectful work environment
What We're Looking For
• 1-2 years of line cook or kitchen experience (restaurant, pub, or similar)
• Solid knife skills and understanding of basic cooking techniques
• Ability to stay calm, focused, and efficient in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and a genuine team player
• Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain one)
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
