Who is running the dance?
Susan Kennedy a.k.a. DJ Pretty P. Susan grew up in metro Detroit in late '90s rave culture and danced in nightclubs every weekend. She created Ladies' Dance Night to bring that joy and freedom to a dance floor in Bayfield in a way that suits her current lifestyle as a mom.
What can I expect at the dance?
A basic dance floor with low lighting and big bass music to dance to. You are free to dance however you feel, to take breaks, and to come and go as you please. This is just for fun! Leave your worries behind for an hour. It’s a safe space to dance freely without judgment. For this reason, no photos/video/cameras allowed on the dance floor. What happens on the dance floor stays on the dance floor!
What should I wear?
Whatever you want! Come as you are in your usual clothes. Or wear something fun that you love but never get a chance to wear. Glitter welcome.
