Tonight is the night!

We've been posting about it the past few days, but this is your last reminder--

Tonight we say farewell to the Tin Roof taproom (2010-2024). It is are biggest hope that the Tin Roof brand lives on in the future, but for now we are closing out the current version with a party in the taproom!

We don't want to make it too complicated, because really we just want to hang on the lawn with good friends one last time. Our taproom opens at noon, and here's the schedule:

🍺 Marble Slab Creamery 4:00 pm
🍺 Pumpkin Chunkin' 4:00- 7:00 pm
🍺 $5 pints and crowlers ALL DAY

Cheers to wrapping up 14 years!

We have had so much fun bringing craft beer to the greater Baton Rouge area. We want to thank all of the people who have been a huge source of light for our brewery, from the owners to the myriad of employees who have passed through our doors, to the collaborators and, most importantly, all of our friends and customers who have loved us through good times and bad (ahem...we're looking at you Covid).

We hope that many family, friends, and beer lovers come and say Bye to Tin Roof with us this afternoon, even if it's just to smash a pumpkin against the wall with a huge slingshot!

That's a Wrap! Our last taproom night is FRIDAY, OCT 11--

We couldn't leave the taproom without one last Pumpkin Chunkin' on the lawn!
We hope that all of our friends and patrons will be a part of our big send-off, mainly eating burgers, drinking beer, and smashing pumpkins against the wall-lol.

Here's the rundown of our last day:
🎃 Taproom opens at 12:00 pm
🍺 All pints and crowlers are $5 all day
🎃 Wolf's Burger Truck 4:00 pm
🍺 Marble Slab Creamery Truck 4:00 pm
🎃 Pumpkin Chunkin' 4:00- 7:00 pm

Since we go over it every year, here is the info if you want to sling some pumpkins:
1. The purchase of a pumpkin from us is $7. This gets you 1 pumpkin and 1 beer or soda (for non-drinkers and under 21)
2. You are allowed to bring your own pumpkin, but it must be "Pumpkin pie" pumpkin size. If the pumpkin is too big it will not fly, or it may break the sling. Pumpkin Pie pumpkins can be purchased at Trader Joes, Southside Produce, grocery stores, etc. We will not let you catapult pumpkins that are too big--sorry!
3. No one is allowed to use the slingshot without a Tin Roof employee present. We will disable the slingshot when we are not around!
4. Pumpkin slinging ends at 7:00 pm, so if you want to participate, please get to the lawn before 7!!

This night is gonna be 🔥-- get your butts out here for one last hurrah!

Parting is such sweet sorrow...
We are proud to have started Yoga on the Lawn many moons ago, and we've watched it grow into one of our most recognized and beloved community-building nights in Baton Rouge.
We hope to see all of our yogi faithfuls and anyone else who would like to join us one last time for the Final Yoga on the Lawn at 6:30 pm tonight.

As always, please bring your own mat. It would be really great if everyone of age could buy a beer from the bar this one last time and show the bartenders love and gratitude for their hard work over the years.

and get any of our beers on tap for just $5 a pint! We've restocked crowlers, so we're starting up the crowler sale again too! $5 single 32 oz crowler, or a 3-pack for $12.

Get your dancing shoes ready to go, because we have a killer lineup of bands, food pop-ups, cold beer, and plenty of space on the lawn for all kinds of shenanigans! Get those taste buds prepped and ready for Cousins Maine Lobster Truck, rolling in from TX on Friday, Oct 4! They'll be slingin' all things lobster from 11 am-8 pm out in front of the brewery.

If you'd like to pre-order, this is how to do it:

The free ordering app can be downloaded from the app store (search for Cousins Maine Lobster). Once you have the app, it will open for orders approximately 5 minutes before the truck opens for business. The app will typically stay active during the service times of the truck, however we do reserve the right to turn it off and on during service in order to control the volume of orders and allow for the best possible customer experience. Once the order is placed and payment made, you will be given a time (typically 30 minutes later) to come pick up your order.
