📖 they say if you’re lucky enough to have a slow morning reading in Maine, you’re lucky enough 📖

We are currently reading our first summer book club pic, The Making of a Mechanical Heart, a semi-memoir by Joanne Felice Boucher about her time growing up in the Lewiston/Auburn area in the 1950s and 1960s.

❤️ We have been loving this read because it feels like you’re sharing secrets at a sleep over with an old friend. It is hilarious, heartbreaking and very wise. Joanne was diagnosed with stage four cancer a couple years ago and spends her days now in Brunswick, Maine using writing as a tool to reflect ❤️ this semi-memoir is a quick must-read in our opinion. It will have you laughing, crying, and waking up in the morning with a craving for life’s precious little moments.

📕 Our first summer book club meet-up will be on June 30th at 5:30pm. Our meet-ups are informal with no questions or prompts, and sometimes the authors join us for a glass of Prosecco to chat or share their process. All are welcome, no sign up needed 📕 you can learn more on our website, link in bio.

💙 🤍 MORSE HIGH ALUMNI WEEKEND 💙🤍

Did you know that Morse High School has the oldest active alumni association in the COUNTRY? Being a “Shipbuilder” means being deeply rooted in a long standing community of hardworking and caring individuals. We are so lucky to be a part of traditions and to create new ones here at our little spot on the river in Bath!

💙We kicked off the weekend by awarding our annual scholarship to a deserving senior at the 2026 Awards Night last night! Adrianna Dunne was the recipient and we wish her well in all of her ventures 💙 awarding the scholarship was Isla (our scholarship winner of 2025) and Yasmeen, both star workers at OystHERS!

🤍 tonight we welcome in the class of 1961 + 1962 (our nana’s class!) to celebrate with their friends and classmates! We will remain open to the public! 🤍

💙 tomorrow we will welcome the class of 2006 and our last public seating will be at 6:15pm! 💙

We take deep pride in being shipbuilders:

We graduated Morse in 2012 + 2013
Our mum graduated Morse in 1986
Our nana graduated Morse in 1961 (see her class pic!)
Our great grandmother graduated Morse in 1939 (she was a cheerleader!)

📣HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND EVERYONE! 📣
Congrats to our staff members Lewella + Zoe graduating this weekend and gooooo builderzzzz

🐟 🌭 this ain’t ur mamas red snappah 🌭 🐟

If you didn’t have a red hot dog did you actually visit Maine? Lobster rolls, step aside. Please, allow us to share with you a local delicacy that is cherished from Fort Kent to Lewiston to Kennebunkport. And no, you don’t have to get it with the wasabi tobiko but that extra crunch really adds to the experience and you know you want to. Don’t ask us what makes it red.

Olives + Mozzarella
Sun Dried Tomatoes with roasted garlic + herbs
Focaccia Bread by Solo Panne
Olive oil with cracked pepper
Honey + Brie + Prosciutto

This board was inspired by the annual summers we spent camping in Acadia National Park with our mum and nana and mess of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Lots of hiking, biking the carriage trails, and feeling fancy with an evening stroll through downtown bar harbor with an ice cream in tow💅

Today if you are a Bath local, you could receive this board half-off, as we celebrate our “A Tuesday for The Towns” deal from 3-7pm! Eyyyy
