We are aware of the social media posts circulating about an incident that occurred over the weekend.

The individual who made the offensive remark was not an employee of LA Express. He was a customer.

Once made aware, our manager immediately stepped in and asked the individual to close his tab and leave the premises in order to de-escalate the situation, ensure the safety and comfort of everyone present, and restore a respectful environment for everyone.

We want to be very clear:
LA Express does not tolerate disrespectful or offensive behavior toward any of our customers or community members. This type of language and behavior does not reflect the values of our business. Our goal has always been to provide a place where everyone in our community feels welcome and respected.

We serve and value everyone in our community, and we are proud to be part of Pointe Coupee Parish.

We appreciate everyone who supports our small business and the people who work hard here every day.

If anyone has questions or concerns, we encourage you to reach out directly so that misinformation does not continue to spread.
