What a beautiful night we had!!! The Spirits of Big Bend Agave Dinner was an evening of great food, thoughtful pairings and a little love for one the most extraordinary places in Texas. Our guide was the very knowledgeable storyteller, David, and so we got a fantastic education while having an amazing dining ! Thanks to Sonya for another fantastic and artistic menu and to Lisa Morrisey for the exciting agave cocktails. And thanks to all who attended and joined us “around the table”. As we come to the end of August, so comes the end of our Three’s Company Happy Hour menu. We want to say thank you for all the love. This mix & match menu has been more successful than we could have imagined…but fear not! In our always creative and innovative Store House way, we have something new and exciting up our sleeve for happy hour in September! So…. STAY TUNED! On Sept 9th, we are hosting a 5-course dinner inspired by Big Bend. Think canyons and campfires, desert plants and wildlife, borderland flavors and the wild desert landscapes of West Texas. We’ll be parking the smoker out front for this one! Each course will be paired with an agave spirit for an evening that celebrates the beauty of this extraordinary place. Our events always sell out quickly, so be sure to go to our website and reserve your tickets for “Spirit of Big Bend” soon. At Store House Market & Eatery, we have a fabulously close team. More like family, really. And we get on so well that we often find ourselves hanging out together when we’re not working. 😅🥰 And here’s the thing…while we do talk about everything under the sun, sometimes we find ourselves brainstorming… and getting really creative about things to come for the restaurant. What the prep looks like for a special event we are hosting at Eden East Farm, tonight. 4x4 on the farm. Four choreographers, four dances, on a 4x4 square foot stage. Eden East Farm not only supplies all that deliciousness, but the farm also operates on the tenet that it educates and shares their knowledge with the community.
