The Painted Horse has a feel that says it is something different, yet it fits our region. But it can be anything people want it to be. There are burger varieties aplenty – with toppings like mushrooms sautéed in red wine and garlic or barbecue sauce and bacon. The Hangover Burger comes with a fried egg, bacon and hash browns on top. Appetizers are a big part of the menu – including a large assortment of chicken wings, spicy firecracker shrimp, Guinness Beer Cheese Soup and chili nachos made with pork shoulder roast and red chili. Salads and soups are available, along with chicken, steaks and seafood. There is a sense of dining, and drinks will be a special experience at Painted Horse.
