As we jump into Labor Day Weekend here Tonewood Brewing, we’re diving head first into our favorite way to celebrate an amazing summer of hanging poolside, with a Deep End.
Deep End is our “Poolside Inspired” Amber Lager. Don’t be fooled by its amber appearance, this Lager is just as crisp and refreshing as our summertime companion, Poolside
Brewed with a base of Weyermann ® Specialty Malts Munich malt and hopped with some of Germany’s finest of noble hops. Deep End is fermented with a classic yeast strain that traces its roots back to 19th century German immigration to Mexico and the production of “Vienna-Style Dark Beers”
Enjoy this beer as the hot days fade into cool nights and campfires, a great companion for both

This one is so near and dear to our hearts since its first release aaaaaalll the way back in 2019. It was one of our very first attempts at a cool-pool, knocking down our whirlpool temp prior to the overloaded whirlpool charge of New Zealand grown Motueka hops. And it’s with that love in our hearts that we are so excited to discuss our process improvements that have us even more enamored with this latest batch of one of our darlings.

We adjusted our mash temperature to get a more balanced, drier finish on the beer, restructured our hot-side hop additions and upped the dry hop load. We are pulling even MORE tropical, lime, and fruit punch flavors from the one-two combo of Motueka and Simcoe and couldn’t be more excited to share the results. TLDR: Hemispheres looks the same but tastes better than ever. Available in 16oz cans and draft pours.😘🍋‍🟩🍍🍋‍🟩😘

Celebrating classic German beer styles today here Tonewood Brewing with the release of Biergarten and Nomad
Biergarten is our take on a classic German Märzen Lagerbier. Brewed with an base of Weyermann ® Specialty Malts Munich and hopped with traditional German Tettnang, Hallertau and Mittelfrűh and clocking in at 6
Biergarten is our version of an “Octoberfest” but do not confuse this with a “Festbier” which is lighter in color and lower in ABV. Here at Tonewood we like to celebrate Octoberfest with a darker and higher ABV offering, and so we present you Biergarten. Prost
Nomad is our take on a traditional German Kőlsch
This style hails from the Cologne region of Germany and is unlike any of our other German styles we brew here. Nomad is a “Top Fermenting” beer, aka an Ale, unlike all other German styles that we brew which are bottom fermenting or Lagerbier
Crisp and refreshing, brewed with local Hillary pilsner malt and hopped with Hallertau and Mittelfrűh
