Our thoughts about the 10th Annual Local Brew Fiddle 'n Folk Festival...
As we move into September and the cooler temperatures hint at summer’s end, we’re normally in the process of ramping up for our annual, Local Brew Fiddle ‘n Folk Festival. Unfortunately, given the current status of our State’s reopening phases and the restrictions on crowd sizes at social gatherings, we cannot feasibly hold our normal Festival, which, last year, had well over 1,000 attendees. We gave an enormous amount of thought and consideration to the possibility of running this year’s Festival as a “virtual” event or in a format where some of the artists are performing “live” from remote locations and some of the artists would be viewed in prerecorded segments, but we eventually realized that that all of the options would fall short of the Festival that we’ve all enjoyed for the last 9 years. A huge attraction of the Festival is being outside with hundreds of your friends and neighbors. We didn’t want the 10th Local Brew Fiddle ‘n Folk Fest to be anything less than the amazing community event everyone has come to expect with all of its parts; great music, delicious food, artisan craft vendors and fun time for all who attend. Due to all of these factors, we’ve decided to wait until the fall of 2021 to celebrate the 10th Festival
We hope that you, your family, and your friends are staying healthy and safe during these challenging times. We’ll keep you updated with periodic emails as to our 2021 plans. It is our sincere hope that, a year from now, the current troubles will be behind us and we can all gather together again for another Festival in a beautiful setting by the water!
As always,
The Local Brew Events Team
