These pictures were pulled directly from the Vermont Department of Health’s website. If you don’t believe me you can look it up for yourself under the “COVID 19 Data Summary” on the dashboard.

On October 8th, 2021 47 fully vaccinated Vermonters had died of (or with) coronavirus. Yesterday March 3rd, 2022 they released the newest summary which states 199 fully vaccinated Vermonters have died of the coronavirus.

This means in a 5 month period 151 Fully Vaccinated Vermonters died. To put that into perspective less than 150 Vermonters in total died of the virus for an entire year before the vaccine even existed. This makes one thing absolutely clear:

There is nothing “rare” about a fully vaccinated person getting COVID or dying from it.

Why does this matter? We were supposed to be following the science to prevent death. Governor Phil Scott insisted on blaming the unvaccinated for his political benefit instead of doing things to best keep people alive. Telling vaccinated people they no longer had to isolate or quarantine when coming in contact with someone led to people dying. Telling people 60+ with 2 shots but no booster that only the “unvaccinated” were in the hospital gave them a false sense of security and led to more unnecessary death. Phil Scott spent the months of November and December (when the evidence was clear) telling you the unvaccinated were the problem and the only ones in the hospital.

I’m not anti anything. I’m glad my grandparents are vaccinated. But we cannot accept our leaders lying and manipulating life and death data for his/her own political gain.

I will concede that I may not be a doctor. But I do know one thing for sure: vaccines and boosters were supposed to mean less people in Vermont got sick and died. Not exponentially more!! After spending all of last year blaming the unvaccinated for coronavirus, Governor Phil Scott abruptly stopped talking about the vaccine at the end of December. Which is when it was overwhelmingly obvious that vaccinated people getting sick and dying wasn’t rare in any way, shape, or form. Death from COVID in Vermont was much more rare before vaccines even existed. The state of Vermont stopped releasing monthly figures for vaccinated vs unvaccinated deaths in November during the Omicron variant. They hide the real, raw data and then accuse US of misinformation.

Governor Phil Scott and the Vermont Department of Health have come up with the arbitrary number that they recommend 80% of children be vaccinated before ending mask mandates in schools.

New York is ending their mask mandate. The New York health department found that after only ONE month children who took the Pfizer shot aged 5-11 are only 12% less likely to be infected with COVID than unvaccinated. Which means after one month they have hardly any impact at all on the spread of the disease. How can anyone claim this has anything to do with science at this point?

The only “science” being considered currently: political science. Phil Scott doesn’t even care if his rules and ideas accomplish anything related to public health. He is willing to conduct any medical experiment necessary on your children to help his popularity and odds of re-election. Whether it even benefits children is a complete afterthought for him and the Vermont Department of Health.

Researchers found that the vaccine’s effectiveness dropped to 12 percent from 68 percent amid the omicron surge.
