Today we’re celebrating the guy who somehow manages to be a Giants fan, a Celtics fan, a Wu-Tang enthusiast, a husband, a dad of two AND our favorite goofball all at the same damn time. Behind all the jokes, good outfits and interesting sports allegiances is someone with an incredibly big heart. Willie is the kind of person who makes all people feel welcome, keeps everyone laughing and puts so much love into his family, his friendships and this little place we all get to call Benjamin’s where him and Nikole keep us all safe and happy! We are incredibly lucky to have him, not just as one of the people behind Benjamin’s, but as the lovable, swaggy and kind human being who helps make this place feel like home.

So if you see Willie today, show our birthday boy some love! Buy him a drink, tell him he looks good (he already knows), or yell WU-TANG FOREVER from across the room, he might look up from his phone.

Happy Birthday, Willie! We love you, we appreciate you, and this town wouldn’t be what it is without you.

(And for your birthday, we promise not to discuss the Giants’ record.)
💚💙🏈👐🏻🍺🍾🧁

We were lucky enough to sit down with William Rousseau and learn about the Kesem Foundation and the incredible work they do for children and families impacted by a parent’s cancer diagnosis.

Kesem provides free programs and year round support for children ages 6 - 18, including Camp Kesem, giving kids the opportunity to just be kids, build friendships and connect with others who understand what they’re going through.

So on Thursday, September 17th, we’re getting spooky a little early at Benjamin’s with a Halloween themed Trivia Night benefiting Kesem!

Throughout the night, 15% of our proceeds will be donated directly to Kesem, and we’ll also have a cash donation jar available for anyone who would like to give a little extra. Every dollar helps support these programs at absolutely no cost to the families who need them.

Come test your Halloween knowledge, eat, drink, have some fun and most importantly, help us support some pretty incredible kids.

Save the date! 9-17-26

Let’s pack the place for Kesem, Bangor.

What better way to celebrate Labor Day than by… laboring? We couldn’t think of one either, so yes we are open today!

While some of you are enjoying a well deserved day off, we’ll be downtown doing what we do best! feeding you, pouring drinks & giving you somewhere to avoid thinking about going back to work tomorrow. And while we’re joking about laboring, a very real thank you to our Benjamin’s crew for showing up, working hard and keeping this place running, today and every day, and thank YOU to everyone who continues to walk through our doors, grab a seat and support us. We appreciate you more than you know.

Happy Labor Day, Bangor! 🤎🍻
