Artscape Day 2 was FULL in the best way 🎨🎶

Enjoyed more live music of course, capped off by the legendary Stephanie Mills ✨ Here’s who I caught…

I also got to catch In Conversation: The Art of the Baltimore Hustle and In Conversation: The Intersection of Art & Politics with Mayor Scott & DL Hughley, which reminded me how much art, culture, and community are all connected in this city.

Spent some time at the Whistle & Cane Juke Joint, then ended the night exactly how it needed to end… at the Boom Selecta Reggae Bashment Party 💃🏽🔥

One of the moments that really stuck with me though was Jonathon Gilmore telling me that it doesn’t feel like Artscape until he sees me 🥹 That honestly meant a lot.

And getting to meet so many of my Charm City Live Music fam in real life this weekend? Y’all made this whole experience even sweeter 🧡

Baltimore really showed out 💜💜💜💜

What was your favorite part of Artscape this year?

05/24/2026

Yesterday was cold and rainy but still a beautiful day in Baltimore.

There’s something special about watching a city keep showing up for art, music, creativity, and community even when the weather tries to shut it down. Today reminded me that Baltimore doesn’t wait for perfect conditions to create joy. We make it anyway.

Didn’t make it to see everyone I wanted but here’s who I did catch…

Artscape Day 1 was full of color, connection, talent, and people determined to enjoy themselves despite the forecast. That’s real Charm City energy. 🎨✨

Did you make it out yesterday?

05/24/2026

Cold, rainy, and we definitely had to leave Artscape early 😂 but we still got to catch some of The Roots…

All in all we had a great day even though I had to bribe my nephew with a Lego set to stay longer. So, now I’m on my way to pay my debts 🫡🧱

Baltimore live music lovers… one of my FAVORITE festivals is back 🍷✨

returns to Middle Branch Park on June 7th for a full day of wine, live music, good energy, and beautiful waterfront vibes.

And one thing about this festival? The music is ALWAYS a vibe 🎶

Live performances by:
🎤 Lenny Kurlou & Reggae AllStars
🥁 Stryker Posse
🔥 Davon “The Percussionist”

Hosted by the amazing April Sampe’ ✨

Black-owned, community-centered, and one of those events that reminds you how good Baltimore can feel in the summertime.

Let me know in the comments if I’ll see you there 👀🍷🎶

The only problem I’m seeing is I won’t be able to be at all the stages at the same time
