Thanks Baltimore.
It was a wild ride.
Just to set the record straight and address some of the accusations:
-we paid 15,000 in back wages before we opened the doors in June, and more after.
-our oldest child is not adopted.
-our immediate family is diverse: Indian, Latina and AA included.
-we renovate abandoned homes because we believe Baltimore is worthy of being restored.
-we hired back (from previous ownership), 2 q***r identifying, 2 POC when we stepped in.
-we are at least 5 generations deep, from Baltimore. Family who immigrated off a ship to Locust Point, family who worked in coke ovens at Bethlehem Steel, family who designed Harbor Tunnel and the Beltway.
We did not know the depths of pain that existed at Church Bar before we took over and we pray those how are hurting can find healing.
