We're taking a weekend off from food service in order to get ready for our expanded Fall/Winter Menu. We've got exciting new dishes coming your way on October 8th and we can't wait to share them with you!

Come out and celebrate Ezra's last Thursday (for now) tomorrow!

With a resume in craft coffee that makes my bartending resume look thin and a passion for hospitality so genuine that he makes it look easy, Ezra has been a wonderful addition to the team this summer. Unfortunately for us all here in Balsam Lake, he has a very busy life and can't grace our plucky little cocktail bar year-round. If we show up and show out to give him the send-off he deserves, perhaps he will return to us again with the spring flowers! 🤞❤️

Thanks, Ezra! 🙏🫡

We're feeling a bit Mediterranean this weekend at the Owl!

Outside of our normal business hours, we'll be open for the Balsam Lake W**e Walk 1pm-5pm on Saturday 9/12. And what better to eat with w**e than light and fresh, herb centered dishes?

As always, whether you are looking for a spot for dinner, drinks or snacks, we've got you covered!

We've got a great team at the Owl and they are psyched to see you tonight! Come say hi, grab a bite and a drink and celebrate the end of summer with us.

We made sure to put some sunshine in a glass for this weekend in case the weather does not cooperate. Happy Labor Day everyone!

One for the Waters, and one for the Woods! We're getting ready for our River Mixer with Wild Rivers Conservancy and Laura Lamb, presented by Saphire Realty tomorrow! We hope you can make it out!

If you can't, you can still support the work of Wild Rivers Conservatory by trying either of our drink specials this weekend! The Cedarheart Sour brings blueberry, botanicals and cedar together for an unforgettably herbal refresher. The Black Walnut Boulevard pairs house-made black walnut liqueur with bonded bourbon and elevates the pairing with splashes of Campari, Cacao, and Cherry Bark bitters.

We love our local watershed, and if you spend any time in the St
Croix Valley we bet it's at least in part because you do, too. So raise a toast to all the tireless work it takes to keep our corner of the world beautiful and bountiful.

You're invited to our first outdoor show at The Barred Owl featuring local artist Laura Lamb. Bonus points, it's for a great cause!

All next weekend, we will be donating a portion of our proceeds on select food and drink specials in support of Wild Rivers Conservancy and the incredible work they do to protect our watershed. The weekend will culminate with a backyard bash on Saturday, presented by Saphire Realty.

Join us from 6pm-8pm on Saturday, August 29th for great music, delicious drinks and bites, and to learn more about Wild Rivers Conservancy and this beautiful watershed we call home.
