We would like to invite you ALL, to the SURPRISE 80TH BIRTHDAY PARTY FOR "POPPA" JIM!!!!

Join us THIS FRIDAY, June 5th at 7:00 p.m. and help us show this super special dude, how MUCH he means to each and every one of us - he's "that guy", who is the foundation of what The Bullpen is built upon 💜🧡 Your presence will mean SO much to him...

If able, arrive at 6:45 p.m. when the lights will go down; as we eagerly await the arrival of Jim and his kids!!

We will offer light refreshments - and if you're able, bring a snack to pass, (maybe Jenn will offer a discount on a drink 😉😆)

Remember, this is a SURPRISE for our Jim, so keep it on the downlow; if a word is mentioned to Jim, in advance; you'll haveta deal with me 😁

More weekend shenanigans.... when the ever so handsome (and well-behaved) Ziggy, the Golden doodle brings his hooman, Andie Westgate to visit one of his favorite bartenders!!

Yes, we are doggo-friendly; are known to serve up some cold and yummy beverages for their "peoples' too!

Since Memorial Day Weekend is historically a quieter time; (when your establishment isn't on a "popular lake destination", nor does it have a swimmin' hole.) Your ever-so-friendly bartender comes up with a new.... game 😉😆

These 2 gentlemen, Bobby and B-rad indulged me!

Each "contestant" was given a cup with 3 ice cubes, in which they covered their eyes, then (gently) tossed the cube toward our amazing selection of liquor bottles!

Whichever bottle their ice cube touched, would would be set aside (wash, rinse, repeat with 3 ice cubes 😁)

A shot glass would contain 1/3 pour of each of the liquors. Since our patrons are of the intelligent sort, y'all know what transpires next.... (down the hatch; in case you were the wonderin' sort 😉)

The morale of this story - this is what may occur, when you tell your bartender that you want a shot; and add on, ".... I dunno.... Surprise me!"

Thus, the game, "Tripple Dagger" was born

The staff at The Bullpen want to give a HUGE congratulations to our very own Faith Mayo on earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from University of Kansas — all while juggling a busy work schedule behind the bar!

Faith is an ABSOLUTE delight and a fave among her co-workers and customers…but don’t worry… she’s still serving drinks with that signature sass and AMAZING smile!

Help us congratulate her — we love you, Faith! ❤️🎓💙
