Chaos Ball - Speed Ball
Discription: 2 players simultaneously play a billiards game with 2 cue balls that are distinctly different and 15 Billiard balls. Hit all your pre determined ball into the pockets and then finish with the 8ball at the end. Best to also have a referee also.
Game play: The referee racks the balls the same as 8ball. The two players decide who is strips and who is solids. The “kitchen” is where each player has to place their cue ball when breaking and after a scratch. It is the area behind the first dot forward and across. So basically each player gets a small square on the left and right side of the table.
When the referee lifts the rack the game is on. Both players are free to hit. After hitting, they both keep hitting but have to wait for their cue ball to stop moving before hitting again. Play continues until someone hits all their balls in and then hits the 8 ball in.
Rules:
players are allowed to aim at the opponents cue ball. If the hit it in that’s a scratch for the player who’s ball went in the pocket and they have to take the cue ball back to the kitchen and hit only at balls that are forward of the first dot.
If the 8 ball goes in the player responsible losses.
If the player strikes his own cue ball before it stops that’s a “foul” Play stops and the other player gets a free shot. Which means they can examine the table. They cannot move any ball. Then take a shot. The other player is free to play once the opponents cue ball strikes another ball.
If a player interferes with the opponents cue ball with their hand or stick. That’s also a “foul” and the same occurs as before.
If a player takes a shot using the other players cue ball. That results in “ Ball in hand” penalty. The other player
When one player is on the right ball and the other is not. Then the one that is not cannot aim directly at the opponents cue or eight ball.
