come forse già sapete il SXSW 2020 è ufficialmente cancellato. Siamo quindi a comunicarvi che è ufficialmente cancellata la spedizione italiana sia per quanto riguarda lo stand Italy Italy at Sxsw sia per quanto riguarda il nostro evento ufficiale Sounds from Italy. Ringraziamo tutte le band italiane e le oltre 2640 persone che ad oggi si erano prenotate, in un numero così importante, per ve**re ad ascoltarle. Il nostro Paese vive un momento difficile che, come in passato, supererà diventando ancora più forte. Vi stringiamo tutti in un forte abbraccio con la certezza di rincontrarci presto ad Austin. as you may already know, the SXSW 2020 is officially canceled. We are therefore to inform you that the Italian mission has been officially canceled both as regards Italy at Sxsw stand and as regards our official Sounds from Italy event. We would like to thank the over 2,640 who had booked themselves so far and had decided to come to our official showcase in such an important number. Our country is experiencing a difficult time which, as in the past, we will overcome by becoming even stronger. We all embrace you sure with to meet again all of you soon in Austin.

The City of Austin has cancelled the March dates for SXSW and SXSW EDU. SXSW will faithfully follow the City’s directions. Read more.

Fred De Palma vola a Las Vegas per partecipare ai Billboard Latin Music Conference 2019, dove il 23 Aprile presso il TAO del Venetian Hotel sarà protagonista di uno speciale showcase organizzato grazie al supporto di FIMI (Federazione Industria Musicale Italiana) e ITA (Ice - Agenzia per la promozione all’estero e l’internalizzazione delle imprese italiane) grazie all'organizzazione e al coordinamento diHitWeek, il più importante festival di musica italiana nel mondo realizzato da Music Experience Roma.

In un contesto sempre più liquido e digitale, la musica è diventata a tutti gli effetti un fenomeno globale permettendo l’ascesa di nuove sonorità, come quelle asiatiche e latine. In questo contesto, l’occasione per favorire lo sviluppo del sistema musicale italiano nel mondo è la partecipazione di Fred De Palma alla manifestazione musicale più importante del panorama latin.

Fred De Palma, classe ’89, sarà il rappresentante italiano a Las Vegas e presenterà live alcuni dei suoi successi, tra cui “D’estate non vale” realizzato con la pop star latina Ana Mena: un brano che ha fatto ballare per tutta la scorsa estate e che unisce il rap al reggaeton. Il singolo ha raggiunto la certificazione Doppio Platino, il numero 1 della classifica di Spotify totalizzando oltre 39 milioni di streaming, e 85 milioni di visualizzazioni per il video.
Da poche settimane è uscito “Dio benedica il reggaeton” con Baby K, un inno al reggaeton, con alternarsi di strofe in italiano e spagnolo.

La carriera di Fred De Palma inizia con numerose partecipazioni ai contest di freestyle lo mettono in contatto con Dirty C, con cui dà vita al gruppo Royal Rhymes. Nel 2012 esce l’omonimo album, dalle sonorità molto curate, grazie alla collaborazione di produttori come DROP, Ludan, Tyrelli e da featuring con Gué Pequeno, Emis Killa, Zuli, Mulinu, Cicco Sanchez, Kevin Hustle Rox.
Nel 2012 dà vita al suo primo album F.D.P., con la produzione di Double H Groovy, Zef, Drop, BigZilla, Vox p e Dj Fede. BOYFRED è invece il titolo dell’album entrato nella top 10 della classifica di vendita, da cui sono stati estratti i singoli Serenata Trap, Stanza 365 (certificato Oro), Buenos Dias (Platino) e Canterai.
Nel 2017 esce Adios (Certificato Oro), il singolo che, dopo Il cielo guarda te (Doppio Platino), anticipa il nuovo album HANGLOVER, che debutta nella top 5 della classifica di vendita e rappresenta lo specchio dell’evoluzione, della maturità e del bisogno di mettersi alla prova con sonorità e influenze nuove.
