The Epicurean is a culinary destination, that will feature live music, a full whiskey and rum bar, secret menu's for VIP guests, theme nights, and art from local artists, who will display, and sell their work on our walls! Imagine, walking in to The Epicurean, and instantly be transformed back to the mid 1920's prohibition era. Wanted posters for AL Capone, and Bonnie and Clyde on the walls, the t

antalizing aromas wafting through the dining room from the kitchen, jazz and blues music playing in the background, the sounds of glasses clinking together and ice being poured, and the entire dining room only dimly lit. It is a romanticized take on prohibition. The Epicurean is the brainchild of Co-Owner and Founder Zachary T Smith. Smith, along with partner, and Co-Owner Jon Eric Shipley, conceptualized this idea. The idea, was to create an environment that is always evolving creatively. Something that will never grow boring or stale. The Epicurean is sure to please any palate! See for yourself, because we promise we won't be swimming with the fishes....

Failures are opportunities. Opportunities to learn, grow, get stronger, and gain the knowledge you thought you had. The market wasn't quite ready for us to open just yet. Rest assured though, I'm working around the clock to embarrass those that have given up on me, and given up on the ideal that just because it hasn't been done, doesn't mean that it can't be done. I don't know when I'll be ready to open my doors, but I can guarantee you that when that day comes I will be the most prepared to take on this undertaking.
