Why We Never Adjust Your Ceremony Start Time:

We get asked this a lot - "Should we list an earlier time on the invitation, so guests think the ceremony starts sooner than it actually does?"

Our answer is always no — and here's why.

Your "early birds" will arrive about 30 minutes before the time on your invitation. If your ceremony actually begins 30 minutes later than printed, they're now waiting a full hour. That's long enough to go from patient to worried — is something wrong? Did the wedding get cancelled? Is everyone okay?

Most of your guests (the majority, in fact) will arrive around 15 minutes early. A 30-minute delay means they're waiting 45 minutes — and feeling that same quiet unease.

Only a small fraction show up right on time. They still will get the experience you planned for everyone.

This part is important - we don't build your timeline around your latest-arriving guests — we protect it.

As your Day-Of Coordinator, we still take care of them. We'll get them seated with zero disruption to your processional, because that moment is yours and it deserves to be uninterrupted.

And if more than 20% of your guests are missing at start time? We'll make that call together — a gentle few-minute buffer, if it makes sense — as part of the timeline we've already built with you in mind.

Here's the best part: when you hire , a small shift in timing never throws off your evening. We're known for weddings that flow effortlessly and stay beautifully on schedule — that balance is our specialty. Your guest experience, from the first arrival to the last dance, is what we're here for. 🍋
