We may not be open anymore, but I wanted to use our page for something that could hopefully make some change. If you had ever frequented our bar than you had probably met Jaime, our kick ass GM ! He is a one of a kind, happy go lucky, never let them get you down kind of guy. Unfortunately about a month after we closed he received some pretty hard news.

Jaime was diagnosed with Leukemia for a third time. An could really use some cheering up and a little help from our community. So I put together a go fund me for Jaime to help him out through this next phase of his life.

If you have the ability to help it will be truly appreciated and every little bit goes along way. Jaime really is one amazing dude, and doesn’t deserve any of this… thank you for taking the time to read this and thank you for any donation.

Indian Roller is closing at the end of October, so this Saturday 10/8 will be the end of an era for KU at IR. Come out and sing it LOUD on our awesome stage one last time!

Smoke em’ if you got em’ . We’re going out with a bang.

It’s with heavy hearts and tear filled eyes, that we must bid you adieu , sweet south Austin. It’s been a beautiful ride, filled with good times, Rock n’ Roll and all the heart and soul.

We shall be closing our doors for the last time on Sunday the 23rd of October. Our last big show before the curtain falls will be our 8 year anniversary party Saturday the 22nd of October. We shall host a slew of events through out the week leading up to our last day. So that we may say goodbye to every wonderful patron who has touched our hearts and forever changed our lives.

We could never thank our staff enough for all of their loyalty, love and passion that have continued to teach us what family and spirit truly mean. We would have never have gotten this far if it wasn’t for each and every single one of you. Indian Roller will forever be your bar, more than it was ever ours.

We will do our very best to find a business to take over our space that keeps the Austin dream alive and to keep the south Austin weird, unique and soulful.

In the words of the Great George Strait “ Goodbye, farewell, so long, vaya con dios. Good luck, wish you well, take it slow. Easy come girl, easy go…”
